The opportunity to step back, scrutinize, evaluate, consider and question its activities was considered as crucial to map the way forward for the organisation for the next three years. The strategic planning process comprised of a review of relevant documents, stakeholder consultations and strategic planning workshop. The three  year strategic plan was crafted in such a manner that it remains a pivotal document for PROWEB to respond to the needs of its members within the Zimbabwean context as well as expand and leverage its existing activities in order to create new avenues that will address the emerging issues affecting  its members, its various stakeholders and partners. The Strategic Plan will focus on four strategic areas; Building a capable organisation, Stakeholder capacity building, Influencing policy development and laws and Capitalising on investiment opportunities.
