Grace Muradzikwa

Chief Executive Officer, NicozDiamond Insurance. B. Admin, MBA, AIISA, FIISA, IPM Diploma Grace holds a Masters in Business Administration and Bachelor of Administration degree from the University of Zimbabwe. In addition, she is an Associate of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (AAISA) and Fellow of the Insurance Institute of South Africa. She also holds an IPM diploma in Personnel Management. The first black woman to list and head a public traded company She has over 2 decades of insurance experience spanning all facets of short-term insurance and reinsurance. Grace holds directorships in various local, regional and international companies and is a member of various professional affiliations.

Prof Hope Cynthia Sadza

Vice President

is the founder of Women’s University in Africa and its current Vice Chancellor. She is a former Zimbabwean Public Service Commissioner and Parastatals Services Commissioner as well as a Public Service Review Commissioner. She has won 18 awards from countries like Nigeria, Unites States of America, Zambia and South Africa. Was conferred a Doctor of Philosophy (Honoris Causa) In Gender and Academic Leadership by the Zimbabwe Open University in 2015.

Susan Makore

Vice President

She is currently the Group Chief Executive Officer of AB Communications, owners of ZiFM Stereo, Zimbabwe's first - and currently - only privately-owned commercial radio station; and Mighty Movies (Private) Limited. Susan first joined AB Communication’s Mighty Movies as Managing Director in 2008. She was instrumental in the company being granted a radio license in 2011; and in the ensuing setting-up of the radio station. ZiFM Stereo began broadcasting on 15 August 2012. Within two years of establishment, ZiFM Stereo has grown from being a small and unknown radio station to being named one of Africa’s Top 20 – a marketing feat that can only be described as outstanding. She has won several awards and sit on several boards

Chipo Mtasa

Deputy Treasurer

Managing Director of Telone, a businesswoman who has worked with various organisations in general and financial management positions. Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990, she worked with various organisations in senior financial management. Chipo joined Rainbow Tourism Group in 1999 as Finance Director for the Sheraton Harare Hotel. She then became Rainbow Tourism Group Finance Director in 2002 and was subsequently appointed Chief Executive in October 2004, a position she held till March 2012.

Tendayi B. Mamvura

She is a qualified Psychologist who trained both in the United Kingdom and Zimbabwe. Mrs Mamvura is a highly respected Entrepreneur, who is very focused and results-oriented. She has managed to set up some very successful businesses in Zimbabwe. She has been involved in the setting up of a number of community-based income generating projects. Notably, she is also a founding member of the Zimbabwe Professional Women in Business (Proweb) which has a very strong working relationship with BWASA. She has vast experience in the distributorship of various products from both South Africa, Asia, the UK and the USA. She set up Images, Veneka and Eden businesses from the grassroots to build them up into strong business entities.

Florence Erina Ziumbe

Former President and Founder

She is a Zimbabwean lawyer. She is the co-owner of Ziumbe and Partners law firm. Ziumbe is the founder and former president of the Professional Women, Women Executives and Business Women’s Forum (PROWEB). She holds a Bachelor of Law (Hons) from the University of Zimbabwe. She has sat on over forty board positions of public and private companies. She served as the Deputy Chairperson of the Zimbabwe State Procurement Board.

Busisiwe Bango

Former President and Advisor

She is the chief executive officer of Empretec Zimbabwe, an organisation promoting entrepreneurship. She is also the past president of PROWEB and a successful businesswoman who is into mining and tourism. Like many women in her camp, Ms Bango has managed to redefine power by building her own business, joining the clique of the female populace in Zimbabwe managing successful enterprises. She is determined to succeed in her endeavours. She has over 20 years experience in enterprise development locally, regionally and internationally.

Tatenda Muronda

Chairperson

Finance & Admin Executive, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Zimbabwe (ICAZ). She is also a Registered Assessor with ICAZ. As well as an Associate Certified Fraud Examiner (ACFE). She obtained honours BCompt Accounting Degree with the University of South Africa (UNISA) and did her articles of clerkship at Ernst & Young Zimbabwe. She also holds a diploma in Auditing with the University of Cape Town (UCT). Her audit work experience spans over 8 years she has audited companies in various industries including insurance, Banking, Agriculture and Real Estate. She is studying towards a Certified Financial Analyst examination.

Cynthia Mugwira

Chairperson

She is the Legal and Corporate Affairs Manager for the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe. A lawyer by profession, Cynthia has vast experience in the corporate governance field and 10 years of experience as a legal advisor to the Government of Zimbabwe, the private sector, and development sector, including working under the United Nations. In 2010, Cynthia was nominated in the Manager of the Year junior category for her outstanding role in setting up the Quality Corporate Governance Centre (QCGC). Officially launched in 2014, the QCGC was responsible for drafting the National Corporate Governance Code for Zimbabwe. Cynthia sits on several boards and steering committees.

Nomasomi Mpofu

She is an Independent Consultant with over 20 years experience in consulting matters relating to women, development, economic empowerment and gender. She has consulted for various organisations which includes local and international organisations such as UN Women, UNDP, UNFPA, ZWRCN, to mention a few. She is very passionate about women’s rights issues. She served for two years as the Chair for the PROWEB Projects Committee
