Daring Damsels Career- Mentorship Forum, 26th October

PROWEB in collaboration with the Boost Fellowship Zimbabwe held a Career- Mentorship Forum on the 26th of October 2013, at Italian Club in Harare, under the “Connecting younger women with caring adult mentors”. The forum provided the participants with a platform to be mentored, inspired, networked and empowered professional and business women in our society.

The forum was attended by over 100 participants drawn from high schools such as Harare High, Mufakose High 1, Mount Pleasant High School, and Heritage School. Other participants were from universities such as University of Zimbabwe, Women’s University in Africa, Midlands State University, and Bindura University and comprised of undergraduates and graduates.

18 successful and prominent professional and business women mentors drawn from the different sectors of the economy attended the forum. The sectors included Business/ Entrepreneurship, Legal, Media, Community Development, Education (research and science), Banking and Finance.
