On the 25th of May, on Africa day PROWEB held the Africa Day Charity Run/Walk to raise money for Emthunzini Wethemba Children’s Home in Bulawayo. Emthunzini Wethemba was chosen after they asked for sustainable help in the form of chicks and feed to enable them to teach their children a livelihood activity and generate income and food for themselves.

On Monday 8th of June 2015, PROWEB handed over donations to Emthunzini Wethemba . Handing over the donation was the PROWEB President, Sibusisiwe P. Bango and the PROWEB Executive Director Sithabile Mangwengwende.

“It is our belief that imparting of practical skills is the gateway to a sustainable life. Our country’s wealth is agro based and would want to assure the children at Emthunzini Wethemba that a career in agriculture is the way to go.”
