PROWEB has embarked on a project to strengthen capacity of female entrepreneurs to become finance ready and run viable businesses. In addition, PROWEB has identified a cohort of existing women entrepreneurs who have potential to grow their businesses to be supported through mentoring and networking nationally and regionally. In collaboration with the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship and supported by the Network of African Business Women Launched the Business Women’s Training and Mentoring Programme in Entrepreneurship Skills. The training was attended by over 45 female entrepreneurs from the Northern region of Zimbabwe and 10 trainers drawn from the PROWEB network joined session. The trainings were conducted by regional trainers from Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship in South Africa Jane Rankin and Maanda Milubu.
